Door Alarm
An officer responded to Heleman Halls after a door alarm was triggered. The officer found an exterior door was being held open by a rock. The rock was removed, the door secured, and nothing suspicious was observed in the area.

Citizen Contact
An officer responded by phone regarding a possible delayed accident report in Lot 26. After reviewing camera footage, it was determined the accident occurred before the complainant arrived on campus. The officer offered to take a report, but the complainant chose to contact the agency where the accident likely occurred.

Citizen Contact – Ban Letter
An officer received a temporary ban letter that needed to be served. The officer contacted the subject via email, confirmed her identity, and sent the ban letter. The subject acknowledged receipt. A copy of the email chain and ban letter was attached to the case.

Theft
Officers responded to a report of a stolen electric scooter from the bike rack on the north side of the David O. Mckay Building. The victim left the scooter unlocked at 0800 and returned at 1315 to find it missing. Camera review showed a female suspect taking the scooter and loading it into a vehicle. The vehicle’s plate was identified via security camera footage. Detectives are working to identify the suspect in the video.

Citizen Contact – Ban Letter
An officer received a temporary ban notice which needed to be served to an individual. The officer contacted the subject by phone, but the subject refused to provide an email and hung up. The officer sent the ban information via text message. The subject later called the officer back with questions, which were answered, and was advised to contact the dean of students for additional information.

Door Alarm
An officer responded to a door alarm and found a door propped open. The officer secured the door, clearing the alarm. Nothing suspicious was found.

Found Property
Officers met with Building Security regarding a found key in the Eyring Science Center. The key was returned to the building manager the following morning.
