Medical
An officer and Provo Paramedics responded to the Cannon Center regarding a female employee who reported leg pain related to a workplace injury that had occurred earlier in the day. Provo Paramedics evaluated the employee on scene and determined that no further medical treatment was necessary at that time, releasing her at the location. The employee's supervisor advised that all required workplace injury documentation would be completed and submitted to Risk Management in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Flood Alarm
An officer was dispatched to the Cannon Center in response to a flood alarm. Upon arrival, the officer observed water pooling on the basement floor. Maintenance personnel were notified and arrived shortly thereafter to address and resolve the issue.

Medical
An adult female was walking down the stairs on the west side of the Broadcast Building toward the Marriott Center Annex when she lost her footing and fell. During the fall, she struck her head on the sidewalk and sustained an injury. BYU Medics and Provo Paramedics responded to the scene and were evaluating the female upon the officer's arrival. The female was subsequently transported by ambulance for further medical evaluation.

Medical
An officer assisted BYU EMS with an elderly male who injured his ankle while stepping over a row of seats in the Marriott Center to reach his seat. The male reportedly twisted his ankle and experienced difficulty walking. He was assisted into a wheelchair and escorted to his daughter's vehicle. The male was then transported by his daughter to a medical facility for further evaluation.

Medical
A BYU officer and Provo Fire personnel responded to the Music Building on a medical call. The patient was evaluated on scene and subsequently transported by Provo Paramedics to Utah Valley Hospital for further medical care. Following the transport, the BYU officer assisted by transporting the patient's sister to the Marriott Center to retrieve her vehicle so she could travel to the hospital.

Medical
An officer responded to the Museum of Art on a medical call involving an elderly male who accidentally walked into a glass door and sustained a minor head injury. BYU EMS and Provo Medics responded to the scene, provided medical care, and treated the injury. The male was evaluated and released at the scene.

Animal Problem
A BYU officer responded to Wyview Terrace regarding a report of a feral cat bite. The officer contacted Provo Animal Control, and an Animal Control Officer responded to the scene. The cat was captured and quarantined for the required 10-day observation period. The Animal Control Officer also provided the complainant with information regarding the procedures and requirements for adopting the cat.

Traffic Accident
An officer responded to a traffic accident involving a BYU campus vehicle and a parked vehicle in Parking Lot 19. The driver of the BYU vehicle was pulling out of a parking stall when he misjudged his turn and struck the adjacent parked vehicle. A DI-9 crash report was completed, and the owner of the parked vehicle was contacted and provided with the case number and insurance information.

Family Problem
BYU Police responded to Parking Lot 22 to keep the peace during a custody exchange. Upon arrival, officers determined the exchange had already been completed. The reporting party discussed her ongoing custody case, including concerns about her custodial rights and an upcoming court hearing. Officers listened to her concerns and advised her to address those matters with the judge at her scheduled hearing.
