Fire Alarm
An officer responded to a fire alarm at B66. The BYU electrician was on scene, silenced the alarm, and conducted a thorough inspection of the building, finding no apparent cause. The electrician indicated that they were testing an outdoor fire hydrant at the time, which may have triggered the alarm.

Trespassing
A security report indicated the presence of an elderly male suspect at the Marriott Center, despite being previously banned from campus. Dispatch reviewed surveillance footage showing the individual leaving the venue, boarding a bus, and arriving at Lot 45. Education Week staff confirmed that the male had registered for the event. Despite efforts by security and police, the suspect was not located on several searches. He was later contacted and referred for trespassing charges.

Citizen Contact
An officer responded to the West Campus following a delayed report concerning a transient male in the building. Upon reviewing video surveillance footage, officers observed the individual in an open area of the campus but did not detect any criminal activity. The male was seen leaving the building at approximately 1640 hours. The complainant was unable to identify any suspicious or criminal behavior associated with the individual.

Found Property
An officer responded to Lot 33 regarding found property after a citizen reported discovering a set of keys on a rock near a garbage can. The officer collected the two stamped keys, labeled as 239 E, which appeared to be apartment keys and showed no association with BYU or any vehicle. The keys were later deposited into the Wilkinson Center lost and found box for safekeeping.
