Fire alarm Officers responded to a fire alarm at the HBLL. The alarm was silenced, and no issues were found in the building. Several door alarms triggered by the fire alarm were reset. The fire alarm itself could not be reset, and a fire technician responded to service the system.
Door Alarm Officers responded to a Held Open alarm at the Eyring Science Center. Security reviewed video and observed an employee leaving through the east main door without fully securing it. The officer found the door slightly open and shut it, which cleared the alarm.
Lockout An officer assisted an individual who had locked their keys inside their vehicle. The car was unlocked without incident, and the individual retrieved their keys.
Hazardous Conditions While on patrol, an officer found a downed tree partially blocking 150 E near the IPF. Grounds was contacted and reported they were already aware of the issue and planned to remove the tree on Monday.

Welfare Check An officer responded to the Marriott Center for a juvenile male found on the concourse while the building was locked. The juvenile stated his parent was a coach and he was trying to reach the court but became lost. The officer escorted him to his parent.
Duress Alarm Officers responded to a panic door alarm at the CONE. Dispatch reviewed cameras and saw normal activity. When officers arrived, everything was fine, and it was found to be an accidental press. Officers reset the alarm.
Theft An officer contacted a complainant regarding a delayed bicycle theft at Wymount Terrace between 1700 hours on 08/28/26 and 1630 hours on 08/29/26. The owner did not have a serial number, and there is no suspect information.
Accident Officers responded to a non‑reportable traffic accident on University Avenue. The officer assisted the involved individuals and facilitated the exchange of insurance information.
