Door Alarm Officers responded to a forced door alarm at the USB. They located a BYU employee preparing for the football game. The employee’s identity was verified, the door was secured, and the alarm was cleared.
Trespassing Officers responded to LaVell Edwards Stadium after security observed two males jumping the fence. Officers located and identified the individuals just outside the stadium. They were not acting maliciously but made a poor decision. Both were issued warning citations and escorted off campus. Officers conducted additional perimeter and interior checks and found nothing suspicious.
Duress Alarm Officers responded to a panic alarm that had been delayed for three days. No one was in the area, and none of the switches had been activated. To clear the alarm, the officer activated and reset the switch. Security advised the alarm system had been down for three days.
Information An officer responded to a complaint about sidewalk chalk artwork near the Botany Pond bike racks. No chalk markings were found on BYU‑owned property. Artwork was observed near the crosswalk and bike racks. Photos were taken; no violations were found, and no further action was required.

CO Alarm Officers responded to a CO alarm at Wyview. Tenants were cooking and using their oven when the alarm activated. Provo Fire detected readings of 38 ppm and 45 ppm. Windows were opened to ventilate the apartment, and BYU Housing was notified.
Burn Officers were dispatched to the MTC for a medical call after a patient spilled boiling water on her foot in the cafeteria. Officers and EMS were canceled after the patient left with her mother to the hospital.

Lost Property Officers responded by phone to a report of a lost wallet at BYU Outdoors Unlimited. The victim lost the wallet after exiting their vehicle between 1630 and 1700. There are no working cameras in the lot, and the wallet has not been found or turned in.
Accident Hit & Run A vehicle was struck while parked in Lot 23 near Heritage Halls. The owner had no suspect information. Officers are reviewing camera footage to identify the suspect vehicle.
Suspicious Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person possibly hiding behind vehicles near the SFH. The area was checked, but the individual was not found.
