Accident Officers responded to Lot 49 for a report of an accident. The complainant’s vehicle had been struck sometime between 4:00 pm and midnight. A note with a phone number was left, but there was no answer when called. The complainant will contact officers if unable to reach the other party. There are no cameras covering the area.
Alarm An officer responded to a violated door alarm at LaVell Edwards Stadium. Doors in the north stairwell on levels 2 and 3 had been opened for the game and not closed afterward. The officer secured the doors.
Accident A complainant reported scraping another vehicle while parking. She did not leave a note and the other vehicle was gone when she returned. She requested the incident be documented. The victim vehicle has not been located.
Lockout An officer opened an exterior door to allow an ROTC member to retrieve a backpack left in a classroom.
Lockout An employee at the BYU Bookstore needed access to their office to recover a laptop. Their identity was verified, and the laptop was retrieved.
Door Alarm Officers responded to a door alarm at Heritage Halls. Air pressure inside the building prevented the door from fully closing, and a possible mechanical issue was noted. Dispatch advised the information would be forwarded to Housing Maintenance.
Rideable traffic stop An officer observed a bicyclist fail to stop for a red light. The cyclist was stopped and given a verbal warning for the violation.
Suspicious Officers responded to Lot 45 for a report of individuals climbing on a stage in a “No Trespassing” area. Officers checked the area but found no one present. Nothing appeared disturbed or damaged.
