Allergic Reaction An officer, BYU EMS, and Provo Paramedics responded to a student experiencing an allergic reaction. BYU EMS administered epinephrine, and Provo Paramedics transported the student to Utah Valley Hospital.
Theft Officers assisted a pizza delivery driver who believed oven bags had been stolen. After investigating, officers found the bags had been left behind on a previous delivery. The bags were returned, and no crime occurred.
Duress Alarm An officer responded to a duress alarm at the Music Building ticket office. A student employee had accidentally activated the alarm. It was reset before the officer arrived.
Accident – Hit & Run An officer responded by phone to a hit‑and‑run report. Video review showed no evidence of the incident, and no suspect information is available.
Theft An officer took a report of an electric scooter stolen from the Heritage Halls bike racks. The case was referred to investigations.
Welfare Check Officers responded to the MTC for a welfare check on a female who had superficially scratched her arms. She denied suicidal intent and had a support plan involving friends and a counselor. Officers provided information and asked her to seek help if her condition worsened.
Information A male reported his electric longboard stolen from the Jesse Knight Building. After speaking with the complainant, officers learned a security supervisor had impounded the longboard.
Disturbance Officers responded to Lot 33 after security observed a male and female arguing. The male had been bitten by a dog earlier and wanted a ride to the hospital, while his wife wanted to attend a play. She left on foot for the theater. Officers stayed with the male until his father arrived to take him to the hospital.
Suspicious Officers responded to the Riviera Apartments for a report of possible vehicle vandalism. Officers found vulgar drawings on multiple windows, appearing self‑drawn or known to the owner. Officers found no damage to the vehicle and observed nothing illegal. We will revisit the case if the vehicle owner provides additional information.
