Suspicious
A concerned student reported parking her car on the street near 1000 North 150 East when two men wearing dark hoodies and Covid masks rode up on electric scooters and took her picture with their cell phones. The two men rode off after she drove away in her car. Officers checked the area but did not find the men.
Fraud
Complainant signed up for a dating app out of China and quickly received a text from a number in the US, reportedly from a female who wanted to be his friend. The female quickly began offering services and the complainant agreed to pay before deciding he was being scammed and blocked the number.

Medical
A student fainted during a class in the JKB. BYU EMS personnel were dispatch to that location. The student was assessed and given some food. The student was escorted to the parking lot north of the JKB where a sister arrived to give her a shuttle home.
Abandoned Vehicle
The scooter appears to have been left in the same location for months. The scooter is not registered on campus, nor is the registered owner of the scooter affiliated with BYU. NCIC was negative and the scooter was tagged for tow.
Mental Subject
Officers were advised a student had sent in a Safe Walk request. In the Safe Walk App, the emergency button was pushed. Officers located the individual at his apartment. The officer provided a ride to the SHC, and helped getting him to his doctor with whom he wanted to talk. The male was left in the care of his cousin and the doctor.
Medical
An officer and BYU medical responded to the Richards building on a medical. A female was playing Volleyball and hurt her knee. The injury did not appear too serious and the female said her husband was coming to get her.
Medical
A female was playing intramural soccer on the Richards field; she slipped on the wet artificial grass, and sprained her ankle. The patient's brother was there, and was going to give her a ride to a medical facility if needed.
Found Property
Officers advised the reporting party to check back with both the SFH and the WSC Lost & Found, that sometimes lost/found items get taken over in a day or two. A short time later, the reporting party called back and stated he had located his wallet and did not need any other assistance.
