Medical An officer responded to a report of a male experiencing a possible heart-related medical issue outside Room 1106 in the Tanner Building. BYU Medical and Provo EMS personnel arrived on scene and evaluated the patient. After being assessed, the patient declined transport and stated he would seek further medical attention at a later time.
Accident An officer responded to assist Provo Police with a minor two-vehicle traffic accident involving a family member. The officer assisted with the investigation and completed an accident report.
Agency Assist An officer responded to assist medical personnel with a female who was reportedly having difficulty staying conscious. BYU EMS and Provo Medical personnel arrived on scene and evaluated the patient. After assessment, the patient declined further medical treatment and left the area with friends to return home.
Attempt to Locate Officers responded to Lot 16 after a License Plate Reader (LPR) camera alerted on a vehicle displaying a stolen license plate. The vehicle was located in the lot with the owner present. Investigation revealed the vehicle's VIN matched the registered rear license plate, and only the front plate had been stolen. The owner had not previously been advised to replace the rear plate after the front plate was entered into NCIC. The owner was advised to obtain new license plates to prevent future incidents.
