The student was found to be safe and at home, and no further action was necessary.

Citizen Contact
BYU officers responded to the Wilkinson Student Center after a female student reported spotting a male student—who had previously victimized her over a year ago—on campus. Although she believed he had been banned, she was unsure of his current status. She was working with Title IV, who had earlier informed her of efforts to officially ban him. Officers accompanied her to her vehicle and coordinated with the BYU Victim Advocate, who is providing ongoing support and communication. Additionally, an officer followed her home to ensure her safety, as she was distressed by his continued presence. The university is actively working to address the situation and support the student.
