Juvenile Problem Officers checked the area after receiving a report of juveniles climbing on the scoreboard at Miller Park. Upon arrival, officers searched the area and inspected the scoreboards but did not locate any juveniles. No individuals were observed on or near the scoreboards, and the area was clear.
Medical Officers responded to the Wilkinson Center on a report of a male who had possibly fainted and struck his chin. Medical personnel arrived on scene, evaluated the patient, and provided assistance. The incident was handled by responding medical personnel.
Citizen Contact Officers responded to a request from the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) office to escort a female student to the Wasatch Behavioral Health Recovery Outreach Center in Provo. Officers contacted the student, who voluntarily requested the transport. Officers provided the escort to the facility.
Found Property Officers received a report of a found identification card in Lot 45. The individual listed on the identification was contacted and advised of its recovery. The individual's spouse, who works for security, arranged to pick up the identification, and the case was cleared.
Medical Officers and EMS responded to a report of a male who had sustained a head injury and was bleeding. EMS personnel treated the injury and applied bandages. Provo Medical arrived, assessed the male, and cleared the scene. The male was later transported to the hospital by private vehicle.
Harassment An officer returned a phone call to a complainant regarding suspicious text messages received from an unknown number. The complainant reported that the sender appeared to possess specific personal information about him. The complainant blocked the number and was advised to contact police if the messages continue. Welfare Check Officers responded to the Creamery on a report of a female acting unusually and possibly under the influence of drugs. The caller also indicated the female appeared to be homeless. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the individual, as she had left prior to their arrival. No further action was taken.
