Nuisance Officers responded to a nuisance complaint on Phillips Lane involving a vehicle full of people reportedly scaring passersby. Officers contacted the occupants, who stated they were simply talking and laughing. They apologized and agreed to be quieter.
Lockout A complainant accidentally locked himself out of his building while taking out recycling and was unable to reach anyone for assistance. After verifying residency, an officer helped him regain access.
Lockout An officer responded to a lockout for a BYU paint‑shop employee needing access to a roof door. Officers opened the door so the employee could complete their work. The officer returned afterward to secure the door.
Accident Officers responded to a minor parking‑lot accident. The officer took a report and assisted with the exchange of insurance information.
Information Officers were dispatched to a report of someone on the Tanner Building roof. They located BYU security personnel, who were authorized to be in the area, when they arrived.
Accident - Hit & Run A complainant reported damage to their vehicle after parking it earlier in the day. Video footage was checked, but other vehicles obstructed the view. No suspects have been identified.
Trauma An adult male fell while riding a longboard on South Campus Drive, sustaining minor injuries. BYU EMS and Provo EMS treated him on scene. He refused transport and remained with BYU EMS until a family member picked him up.
Criminal Mischief A complainant reported by phone that their vehicle had been keyed while parked in a stall sometime over the past week. Information was gathered for documentation. There are currently no suspects.
Carbon Monoxide Alarm Officers responded with Provo Fire and BYU EMS to a CO alarm at Wyview Park. The unit had already been safely evacuated. BYU Housing and Enbridge Gas responded to inspect the apartment's oven.
