Medical
BYU EMS, BYU Police, and Provo Fire responded to a report of a female experiencing a seizure. Bystanders observed the patient seizing on the ground but did not witness her fall or the onset of the seizure. One bystander placed a cushion under her head to prevent injury. Upon arrival, emergency personnel began treatment and assessment, contacting the patient's sister and another emergency contact. It was conveyed that the patient does not have epileptic seizures and had no head or neck injuries upon examination. The sister arrived and stated that the patient's seizures typically last between 5 and 45 minutes and that she did not require hospital transport. The patient was later left in her sister’s care.

Citizen Contact
A disruption in the Tanner Building occurred involving a student and an uninvited individual. A faculty member reported the incident to BYU Police. The visitor, who was identified as a friend of the student, appeared unannounced and did not leave immediately when asked by the faculty. The subject left a short time later. The individuals involved were interviewed, and the case has been documented.

Accident
A traffic accident occurred in Lot 39. The incident involved minor injuries, which were treated and evaluated on-site by medical personnel, with no transport to a hospital required. The responding officers documented the scene and injuries through photographs.

Information
An officer received a phone report of a hit-and-run incident involving a tan truck that backed out of a parking stall west of the Richards Building and collided with a parked car at the northwest end of the lot. The driver left without providing any identification or contact information. The complainant observed a dent and paint chips near the rear license plate of the damaged vehicle but did not record any vehicle details or take photographs. No security cameras covered this area, and the victim's vehicle was not present when the officer arrived. This case remains informational unless the victim is identified and files a damage report.

Medical
A female student sustained a leg strain while at the intramural fields. The BYU Police Department, Provo Fire Department, and BYU EMS responded to the scene to evaluate her condition. After assessment, she was transported back to her apartment by a friend. No further medical treatment was required.

Gas – Smell
A concerned tenant reported a smell of natural gas in the air while they were seated on their balcony. The Provo Fire Department responded and checked the complainant's apartment as well as the exterior of the building area but did not detect any indication of gas on their equipment or an odor of gas in the air.

Carbon Monoxide (CO) Alarm
Emergency responders, including Provo Fire and BYU EMS responded to a carbon monoxide (CO) alarm at Wyview 14. BYU Security Dispatch initially contacted the tenant, who was feeling ill and disoriented, and advised them to evacuate. Upon arrival, medical teams evaluated the tenant and cleared them to return inside. Provo Fire inspected the apartment and detected a CO level of 45 parts per million. Following an inspection by a BYU housing employee and a gas company representative, the tenant was permitted to re-enter the apartment.
