Fire – Gas Smell
BYU Police responded to Helaman Halls for a gas smell. Officers could not smell any gas upon arrival, and Provo Fire checked the rooms using a handheld carbon monoxide/natural gas sensor. They advised there was no residual gas readings in any of the apartments in the area.

Medical
An officer and medical responders responded to a report of a female experiencing a seizure. Provo and BYU medics arrived first and attended the patient, who was awake and alert at that time. The paramedic observed that nothing dangerous to her was present and advised that she did not need to be transported to a hospital. She was instructed to follow up with her doctor.

Unsecure Gate
An officer on patrol found Gate 2 at Lavell Edwards Stadium open and unsecured. The officer closed and locked the gate, then conducted extra patrols in and around the stadium, ensuring no one was inside.

Unsecure Gate
An officer on patrol discovered that the northwest gate to Helaman Field was open and unsecured. The officer closed and locked the gate, thereby securing the area. He then checked the remaining gates leading to the NCAA track and Helaman Field and found them secure.

Campus Alarms
Officers also responded to six alarms across various campus buildings and assisted with two lockouts involving faculty and staff.
