Nuisance Officers responded to Lot 48 after a resident reported a group playing loud music around 1:00 am. Officers contacted the group, who were respectful and apologetic. They turned off the music and left the area.
Trauma Officers and medical personnel were dispatched to assist a 60‑year‑old male with an ankle injury at the Smith Fieldhouse. Before arrival, the complainant called back and advised the injured male was being transported by private vehicle. No further assistance was needed.
Lockout A student returned to the Wilkinson Student Center to retrieve a laptop left after church but found the building locked. Officers let the student inside. Student cleaners had already picked up the laptop and placed it in lost and found. The lead cleaner responded and returned the laptop.
Traffic Offense Officers responded to a report of 5–6 individuals riding motorcycles through the grass at Helaman Halls. Officers checked the area but could not locate the individuals.
Overdose Officers responded to Helaman Halls after receiving a report that a male student had attempted to overdose on pills. Officers located the student and coordinated with Provo Fire/EMS for transport. He was taken to the hospital and received medical treatment.
