Medical
Report of a fall near the Engineering Building: An officer responded on foot to the area. Upon arrival, it was noted that BYU EMS had already been on scene and had cleared the location prior to the officer’s arrival.

Welfare Check
BYU Police Officers were dispatched to the Tanner Building following an automated report from a smartwatch indicating that the individual wearing it may have fallen. Officers conducted a foot patrol of the building and found that business was proceeding as usual. The floor where the watch indicated the fall had occurred did not exist. Dispatch attempted to contact the individual again but was unsuccessful. No additional calls regarding the incident were received, and no patient was located.

Accident
Report of a Two-Vehicle Accident on Campus Involving Two Campus Vehicles. An officer responded to the location at the Ellsworth Building. No injuries were reported or observed. Vehicle 1 sustained no damage. Vehicle 2 displayed minor superficial front-end damage. The officer documented the incident, digital pictures.

Agency Assist
A BYU Police Officer was dispatched to a traffic accident with injuries near BYU Campus on 900 East. The Provo Police Department, which has jurisdiction over the incident location, conducted the primary investigation. The BYU Officer assisted by managing traffic control and gathering video evidence from campus security. A formal request was made to BYU Security to release the security footage to support the Provo Police Department’s investigation.

Medical Assist
During a recent marching band event in lot 45, a student was reported to be feeling ill and may have fainted. Provo Fire paramedics responded promptly to assess the student’s condition. After a thorough evaluation, the student was deemed stable and released to continue participation with the band.
