Accident
Officers responded to a traffic accident in Parking Lot 26. The investigation determined that a driver was backing their vehicle and stated that traffic conditions caused them to turn more sharply than intended. While backing, the vehicle struck a properly parked vehicle. The parked vehicle sustained minor damage to the rear driver's side bumper, and the other vehicle sustained very minor damage to the rear passenger-side bumper. No injuries were reported.

Civil Problem
An officer returned a phone call to a complainant regarding a delayed traffic accident that reportedly occurred on 09/24. The complainant stated that he and the other driver had initially agreed to handle the damages without involving insurance; however, after obtaining repair estimates, the parties were unable to agree on a payment amount. The complainant was advised that the matter was civil in nature and that he should contact his insurance company for assistance in resolving the dispute.

Medical
A BYU student was playing ultimate frisbee with his roommates near the Heritage Halls Building 6 volleyball court when he sustained an injury. While attempting to dive and catch a frisbee, the student landed on his shoulder and suffered an apparent fractured clavicle. BYU EMS and Provo Fire responded to the scene, assessed the patient's condition, and provided medical care. After evaluation and treatment, the student was released from medical personnel and was directed to seek further treatment at Utah Valley Hospital. The student was transported to the hospital by his roommate.

Officers responded to a report of a scooter stolen at the Cannon Center. An initial investigation was conducted, including a review of available surveillance footage and follow-up with the reporting party. During the investigation, the officer determined that the scooter had not been stolen. The scooter was later located at the bike rack where the owner had apparently left it.
