Welfare Check
The BYU Police Department was alerted by BYU Security about a student employee at the Museum of Art (MOA) who had inadvertently activated her Safe Walk emergency button. Security requested a welfare check to ensure her well-being. An officer responded to the scene, located the student, and confirmed she was safe. The student apologized, explaining that she had accidentally triggered the emergency button.

Suspicious Person
BYU Police were dispatched to a suspicious person at the WSC. The reporting party called to report a suspicious male in the area but could not describe anything that the person was doing that was suspicious or even remotely concerning. No officers responded to the area, as there was no probable cause or suspicious activity occurring to warrant officer action.

Animal Problem
An officer responded to the BNSN Building and discovered a visibly injured, immobile deer. The officer contacted the Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR), who arrived on scene, assessed the deer, and determined that it did not meet the criteria to be euthanized under their policy. DWR decided to leave the deer undisturbed for the time being to monitor if its condition improved.

Family Problem
Officers responded to Central Campus regarding a family dispute. During the incident, one family member chose to walk away from the conversation, while others continued to follow and converse. Officers intervened to separate all parties, and the individual who wished to leave departed the scene. The complainant stated that no physical altercation occurred and the situation was resolved after short time.

Medical
The BYU Police Department was alerted to a medical emergency at the BYU Creamery, located near the Cannon Center. A female student had suddenly passed out and was unconscious at the scene. BYU EMS and the Provo Fire Department responded promptly. Upon arrival, medical personnel found the student conscious and able to communicate. After conducting an assessment, they determined she was stable and could be transported by a friend if necessary. No further medical intervention was required at that time.

Fire – Gas Smell
An officer responded to Wyview Park following a complaint of a gas smell. Provo Fire Department arrived and conducted an inspection but detected no gas odor. Additionally, BYU Housing personnel checked the residence. The officer also conducted a walkthrough of the residence and confirmed the absence of any gas smell. No further action was required.

Medical
An officer responded to the North Intramural Field regarding a possible concussion. A student was participating in flag football when he reportedly dove for a pass and his head struck another player's knee. Provo Fire and BYU EMS arrived on scene to assess and treat the student, who was suspected of having a concussion. The patient declined ambulance transport and was instead transported to Utah Valley Hospital by a friend.

Suspicious
The BYU Police Department responded to reports of suspicious screaming and yelling originating from the north parking lot of the Music Building. Witnesses indicated that the sounds did not resemble typical joking around. Two vehicles were observed leaving the area; however, no license plates were obtained. Dispatch reviewed camera footage but found no suspicious activity. The incident has been documented for further reference if additional information arises.
