Trespassing A suspicious incident occurred at Miller Field, where a supervisor reported seeing two individuals on the 2nd-level balcony as he was concluding his shift. When the supervisor inquired about their presence, the individuals hastily exited the area by jumping over the south gate and fleeing down the stairs. Although the supervisor could not confirm their whereabouts, a quick search of the complex was conducted by an officer, who found an open broadcast booth door but found no one else present. The individuals had apparently escaped the area before the incident was reported.
Medical A report was received of a person feeling unwell near the stadium entrance. BYU EMS, Provo EMS, and BYU Police responded to the scene and contacted the individual, who stated they were feeling better. The subject reported a headache and requested assistance to reach their nearby vehicle. EMS evaluated the individual and released them on site with no transport or further law enforcement action required.
Accident On September 27, 2025, in the evening, the complainant accidentally hit a concrete block while parking. The block was a remnant of a light pull and was not marked, making it difficult to see due to darkness and its low position to the ground. The complainant reported the incident, was provided with a case number, and exchanged information with BYU Risk Management for further handling.
Medical An officer responded to the Richard Building, Room 144, regarding an injury sustained by a BYU student during a volleyball game. BYU EMS also responded and evaluated the student's condition. The student was advised to follow up with an Instacare for further assessment.
Welfare Check An 18-year-old male student, who left a local restaurant following a minor argument with his parents, could not be located initially. Due to concerns about his ASD, ADHD, severe depression, and previous discussions about self-harm, his parents requested a welfare check. Several hours later, the parents contacted authorities to report that they had had face-to-face contact with him and confirmed he was safe, subsequently declining further police assistance.
