Information An officer received a report of possible fraudulent activity occurring on campus. The officer investigated the complaint and found no evidence to support the allegation. No additional reports of suspicious or fraudulent activity have been received. The reported activity may have been related to summer sales recruiting.
Trauma An officer responded to a report of a fall with injury. Surveillance footage showed the individual walking quickly before tripping and falling. The individual sustained a broken arm and was transported to a hospital by emergency medical personnel. A review of the footage indicated the individual may have tripped over their own foot or a bag they were carrying.
Suspicious Person Officers responded to a report of an individual openly carrying a firearm near Heritage Halls. Officers found that the individual was a BYU Police Department detective acting in an official capacity.
Welfare Check An officer responded to an apartment complex to conduct a welfare check on individuals who were not responding to the reporting party's phone calls. The officer made contact with all involved individuals and found no cause for concern. A child present appeared healthy and in good condition.

Traffic Offense Officers responded to a report of a vehicle driving on a sidewalk near Heritage Halls. Officers determined the vehicle was a university-owned vehicle assigned to event support operations. No traffic violation occurred.
