Information on Threats
The ongoing social media chatter surrounding rivalry week between BYU and U of U football has generated concern among campus authorities. In response, campus officers have documented and responded to these alerts in accordance with established protocols.

Carbon Monoxide (CO) Alarm
A police officer responded to Wyview Housing Offices after an employee reported a carbon monoxide (CO) alarm beeping and expressed concern. A housing employee was dispatched to fix the sensor and address the issue.

During the conversation, the security officer reported observing on surveillance footage that an individual had entered the library with an object in his mouth that appeared to be marijuana.
