Sick Person Officers responded to the JFSB on a student who was feeling hot and almost passed out. The patient was medically cleared by BYU EMS and was transported back to their residence by the officer.
Property Damage A BYU employee reported damage to their vehicle, which was parked in Lot 7 near the motorcycle parking area. The employee discovered a small dent with a missing paint chip on the right front fender of their car. The damage is believed to have occurred sometime between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM today. An officer is currently investigating the incident and is checking for security camera footage in the area to determine potential causes or witnesses.
Welfare Check A police officer responded to the area of 820 North and 750 East to conduct a welfare check for an overdue Safe Walk. Upon arrival, the officer was unable to locate the reporting party (RP). Later, the RP contacted the department via text message to confirm she was safe and provided clearance for the case to be closed.
Campus Alarms Police officers responded to a total of nine incidents on campus, including six alarms and three lockouts, assisting students and employees throughout these events.
