Suspicious A police officer responded to the JRCB after receiving a report of a suspicious male, approximately 40 years old, observed wandering around the building. The report was received after a 15-minute delay. The individual claimed to be a relative of J. Reuben Clark and stated he had commissioned some of the paintings inside the building. The suspect was described as wearing a Cookie Monster hat and having a dark beard. The individual was later identified and trespassed from campus.
Medical An officer and BYUEMS were dispatched to the JFSB for a report that a student had gone unconscious. It was reported the individual was now conscious and breathing. BYUEMS arrived and rendered aid and the subject was released at the scene.
Duress Alarm Officers responded to a silent alarm at the JFSB and found that there was no emergency. Reception staff explained that the alarm was accidentally triggered when someone bumped into it, causing it to come off the cabinet. An officer attempted to reset the alarm but was unsuccessful, so maintenance was contacted for assistance.
Medical A law enforcement officer and BYUEMS were dispatched to the SFH following a report of a male with a hamstring injury that occurred while playing intramural sports. The patient was treated at the scene by EMS.
