Traffic Offense
An officer observed a motorcycle traveling eastbound on South Campus Drive at over twice the posted speed limit of 15 mph. As the officer caught up, the motorcycle ran through three red lights near the LSB, failed to stop at a stop sign, and passed a vehicle on the left. The officer stopped the motorcycle and discovered that it lacked insurance, had a fake license plate, and was unregistered. Additionally, the driver did not have a motorcycle endorsement. The driver was cited, and the motorcycle was impounded for no insurance and no registration.

Sick Person
Officers were called to a sick person at the Harold B Lee Library. Emergency Medical Services arrived and officer cleared with no further action taken.

Welfare Check
An officer was dispatched to conduct a welfare check on a student who had not attended class for several weeks. Upon meeting with the student, the officer determined that the student posed a threat to themselve. The student was then transported to Utah Valley Hospital and involuntarily committed for a mental health evaluation.

Officers responded to a duress alarm at the Culinary Support Center, which was triggered accidentally by an employee. The alarm was promptly reset, and no further action was needed.

Citizen Contact
An officer responded to the Y trailhead following a report of a person riding an electric motorcycle up the trail. By the time the officer arrived, the motorcyclist had already descended the mountain and continued north along the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. No additional information was available.

Traffic Offense
Officers responded to a delayed traffic offense report near East Campus Drive and Cougar Blvd on BYU campus. The vehicle involved had already departed the area, and no additional reports matching the initial description were received. A review of traffic camera footage was conducted but did not provide any evidence to advance the investigation.

Medical
An officer assisted medical personnel with a male student who had a dislocated left shoulder. Upon arrival, the student had already relocated the shoulder himself. Medical staff attended to him, and the student decided he did not require transportation to the hospital.
