Medical While working at the Women's Volleyball game, a student worker hit his head on a roll-up door, resulting in a small forehead laceration. The injury was superficial, and no further medical treatment was needed.
Fire – Gas Smell A BYU officer responded to a gas smell complaint at Wymount Terrace. The residents reported multiple visits from BYU housing that week to address gas lines and appliances. Upon arrival, a strong gas odor was detected inside the apartment. Provo Fire inspected the residence and confirmed the odor, prompting a call to the gas company, Enbridge. BYU housing had checked the residence earlier and found no leaks. Enbridge later identified two separate gas leaks and temporarily secured the lines with red tape until repairs could be made. The residents evacuated to stay with family, and BYU housing planned to return the next day to fix the leaks.
