Agency Assist
A Provo City police sergeant and detective requested to meet with a BYU officer regarding the service of a warrant, which they believed involved an employee. As the officer was en route, they advised that they had contacted the individual and no longer needed assistance.

Accident
Single vehicle minor accident in Lot 24 near the PFNB. The driver was backing out of a parking space and hit a pole. No injury.

Accident – Hit and Run
A vehicle backed into an unoccupied vehicle in Lot 49, and the driver left the scene. Using License Plate Recognition (LPR) data, the officer identified the other vehicle involved and the driver. The individual was interviewed and subsequently issued a citation for leaving the scene of an accident.

Carbon Monoxide – Alarm
A BYU officer responded to Wyview 14 after a carbon monoxide alarm sounded throughout the building. The alarm cleared itself before the officer arrived. Provo Fire personnel checked all residences and found no sign of carbon monoxide. Both the officer and fire team reviewed the alarm panel, which indicated the system was functioning normally. The BYU electrician plans to inspect the system the next day to ensure proper operation.
