Theft
A delayed report was received regarding the theft of a jewelry item from the MTC. The officer made in-person contact with the owner, who reported that the item went missing yesterday morning while they were working at the facility. The stolen item has been entered into the NCIC database, and a pawn database check is underway. The case remains under investigation.

Suspicious
An officer responded to the second floor of JRCB regarding a suspicious individual described as "being creepy," wearing a tan suit with slicked-back hair. The person was seen eating food, asking people various questions, and claimed to have graduated from Juilliard School in performing arts. Officers spoke with the complainant, who indicated the individual had left the area. A thorough walk-through of all floors was conducted.

Welfare Check
An officer responded to the CONE to check the welfare of an employee. An anonymous roommate called and is concerned she may want to harm herself. The Dean of Students also said she hasn't been attending class on a regular basis. The officer verified she was at work and didn't need assistance.

Medical
An adult female was reported at the student gym in the Smith Field House, exhibiting symptoms including shortness of breath, feeling faint, and lightheadedness. She was treated on scene by BYU EMS and later requested transportation to a hospital via Provo EMS. Law enforcement personnel were present to ensure scene security.

Accident
A vehicle owner reported an accident in Lot 2 after returning to their parked, new car to find it damaged and a note left on the windshield. The owner contacted the note's author, who returned to the scene, allowing the two parties to exchange information. The officer documented the incident with a non-reportable accident report.

Suspicious
A suspicious male was reported in the parking lot, seen going through vehicles. Observers noted that when he bent over, his pants would slip down slightly, revealing part of his buttocks due to the absence of underwear. The individual was located and contacted by authorities. During the investigation and interview, it was determined that he was experiencing mental health issues and no criminal activity had occurred. After being identified, he left the campus to visit his aunt's home in northeast Provo.
