Suspicious Officers responded to the Riviera Apartments on BYU campus following a report of an unknown individual knocking on an apartment window. Upon arrival, they checked the area but did not find anyone suspicious or out of place. Attempts to contact the resident at the reported apartment were unsuccessful, as no one answered the door. After conducting an area check, the officers cleared the call, finding no suspicious activity.
Accident A male driver was traveling too fast eastbound around a corner on University Parkway. As he attempted to slow down by applying the brakes, the wet road caused his vehicle to spin out of control. The car struck the curb, rotated sideways, and collided with a section of bushes, uprooting them in the process. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The vehicle was later towed, and a DI9 report was completed.
Trouble Alarm Officers responded to an oxygen alarm at the training area of the Marriott Center Annex on BYU campus. Upon investigation, they found all equipment to be in good working order and could not determine the cause of the alarm. Officers advised dispatch to notify the building supervisor of a potential malfunctioning oxygen sensor before clearing the call.
Suspicious A report was received regarding an adult male who may have been engaging others in political discussions of an unknown nature, possibly collecting signatures. A security officer observed the individual in the WSC and requested police contact. Officers responded to the area but were unable to locate the person.

The report had been delayed, but the incident occurred within the past hour. Upon arrival, the officer conducted both vehicle and foot patrols of the area but was unable to locate the individual. No additional calls were received regarding a suspicious male in the vicinity.
Accident Officers responded to a parking lot in Wymount Terrace on BYU campus to an accident report. Officer confirmed that each of the vehicles suffered minor damage and there were no injuries.
