Sick Person
An officer responded to a medical call at the JFSB, where a female student was experiencing back pain and difficulty walking. The officer located her sitting outside the southeast doors of the building. BYU EMS evaluated her and cleared her medically, but she requested transport to the Student Health Center. The officer transported her via patrol vehicle and dropped her off at the health center.

Welfare Check
BYU Police responded to Helaman Halls following a report of a concerning social media post by a student. Officers conducted a welfare check and met with the student in her dorm room. It was determined that the post stemmed from personal frustrations and did not pose a threat to herself or others. The student was cautioned about posting on social media and was provided with information on resources and support options should she experience similar feelings in the future. The incident was documented accordingly.

Traffic Stop
An officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a motorcycle without a license plate, with a male rider, near 900 East 700 North. The rider, who was first observed on the BYU campus, appeared to comply but then fled the scene. Surveillance footage of the motorcyclist is available. The case is currently under review.

Trespassing
Officers responded to a report of students entering LVES through Gate 11. Upon arrival, they contacted a group of students crossing University Parkway near Miller's Field. The students admitted jumping the fence to gain access. After verifying their statements with video evidence and other facts, officers issued warnings for trespassing.

Suspicious
A BYU PD Officer was dispatched to conduct an area check at a campus housing area on report of multiple suspicious individuals walking around a housing building taking photos. The suspicious people reportedly fled when an uninvolved party started to watch them. Additional information was collected and documented about the suspicious activity.
