Welfare Check The BYU Police Department responded to a call from a concerned parent worried about his daughter in May Hall after she was unresponsive to his attempts to contact her. Upon arrival, the parent informed officers that he had finally reached the RA, who confirmed that the daughter was safe and had simply slept in.
Duress Alarm An officer responded to the MTC to reset a panic alarm that had been accidentally triggered by security. Upon arrival, the officer reset the panic button and verified with dispatch that the system had been cleared.
Campus Alarms Officers also responded to three building alarms and two lockouts assisting campus security.
