Accident An officer responded to a minor accident in lot 44 ELLB. The officer filed a report and exchanged insurance information.
Accident – Hit and Run BYU Police were dispatched to a delayed hit and run traffic accident. The reporting party noticed her vehicle had been hit sometime within the past few days. An officer gathered information to document the report, and is reviewing camera footage to locate a possible suspect.
Trespassing A group of students accessed the tunnel system and entered the MTC parking garage. While two students were detained by MTC security, at least eight others escaped back into the tunnels. The detained students promised to provide the names of the others by the next shift, and officers plan to follow up accordingly.
Fire Alarm An officer responded to a fire alarm in Helaman Halls. Before he arrived, dispatch advised that they had confirmed that there was no fire, a cooking error had caused the alarm, and that the alarm had already been silenced.
