Animal Problem
Police officers responded to Maeser Hill after a caller reported an injured deer on a walking trail. The complainant observed the deer, which appeared to have a broken leg, as it moved off the trail and laid down in nearby bushes along with other deer. Officers checked the area later but were unable to locate the animal, as it had left the scene.

Suspicious
A caller reported a suspicious bag found on the Y Trail. Officers located the bag and discovered it contained a sleeping bag. Since the area is known to be used by homeless individuals for sleeping, the sleeping bag was safely taken to the Food and Care Coalition.

Campus Lockouts
Officers responded to two lockout incidents at Heritage Halls to assist students who were unable to access their buildings.
