Lost Property
BYU officer was dispatched to the Wilkinson Student Center on a report of some lost keys sitting on a table in the Food Court. Upon arrival, the officer was unable to locate the lost keys based on the complainant's description.
Animal Problem
Security dispatch observed a limping deer on the camera system. An officer was sent to the area to check on the deer. An officer responded but was unable to locate the injured animal.

Traffic Stop
An officer observed an individual operating a motorized two wheeled vehicle on the wrong side of University Pkwy heading east bound with no taillights. The officer initiated a traffic stop. It was discovered that the operator of the vehicle was a juvenile. The juvenile was given a warning and allowed to leave.
Welfare Check
Officers responded to a report of a male on campus who was possibly having suicidal ideations. Contact was made with the male. The male denied having suicidal ideations. The male also refused any services. The male said he was planning to head home to his spouse. Contact with the reporting party was made. An officer told the reporting party that the male stated he was not having suicidal ideations. An officer later observed the male drive away.
Animal Problem
A concerned citizen reported seeing over a dozen bird carcasses on the northeast side of the Life Science Building. When an officer responded, it was apparent that the birds had flown into the glass windows of the building causing fatal injuries to themselves. BYU grounds was notified, and the carcasses removed.
Welfare Check
A police officer responded to the Harold B. Lee Library on a report of a 14-year-old female in crisis, speaking with a suicide hotline operator via online chat. The device the female was using was pinged to the library. Library security personnel were advised, and an officer responded to the building. No one matching the very limited description was observed in distress or need of assistance.
Suspicious
A BYU faculty member reported a suspicious male in a BYU building. Police tried to call the faculty member multiple times, but she would not answer calls or texts. Police watched cameras and found nothing illegal or suspicious.
