Alarm
BYU Police responded to a door alarm at the LVES. Officers found multiple contractors working in the area, preparing for Stadium of Fire. Nothing suspicious was occurring.

Alarm
A building entrance door alarm activated after the door remained open too long. Dispatch advised a custodian had recently entered the door. A small rock was found keeping the door from closing. The rock was removed, the door was shut, and the alarm cleared.

Suspicious
A male reported someone had knocked on his door, but ran away when he opened the door. Officers checked the area and contacted several males, but none were identified as involved. The incident was documented.

Lockout
Officers responded to the LVES to let contractors out of the stadium. They were escorted out, and the gates were re‑secured.

Accident
Two vehicles were involved in an accident in Lot 45, west of Lavell Edwards Stadium. An accident form was completed.

Lockout
A professor requested assistance after locking his keys in his JFSB office. After verifying his ID, officers unlocked the office for him.

Duress Alarm
Officers responded to a duress alarm at the MTC Bookstore. It was determined that an employee accidentally activated the alarm. Officers reset the button and cleared the call.

Traffic Offense
Security reported a silver sedan driving on the sidewalk near the President’s home. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Juvenile Problem
FSY staff reported issues between two boys, with one exhibiting rude behavior toward another. The behavior appeared targeted, but not criminal. Counselors spoke with the boys and contacted their parents. No further action was needed; the report is for documentation only.

Unconscious
Officers and Provo Fire responded to a juvenile who had passed out. Fire personnel evaluated the juvenile and found them to be in good condition. The juvenile’s mother was contacted and chose to have them remain with the youth group until morning. The juvenile was advised to stay hydrated and to keep cool.

Breathing Problem
A female participant in the FSY program reported experiencing difficulty breathing and numbness in her hands. She has a medical history that includes anxiety. Provo medics evaluated her, and her symptoms resolved after she calmed down and focused on her breathing. Her mother was contacted and came to pick her up. No hospital transport was necessary.

Death Investigation
Officers responded to the MTC after an elderly male collapsed and had difficulty breathing. Police and EMS performed CPR and attempted lifesaving measures. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene. Officers secured the area until mortuary staff arrived.

Audible Alarm
Officers responded to silence a flood alarm in Heritage Hall Building 9. The alarm continued cycling on and off. A technician advised that it was a system issue that would be repaired on Monday. No further action was required
